RAIDERS threatened staff in a north Worcestershire post office with guns but were forced to flee empty handed.
It happened at approximately 4.10pm yesterday (Tuesday, September 23), at the Post Office in Hollywood Gardens, Hollywood.
Three black men got out of a new shape three-door red Volkswagen Golf and went into the post office, where they threatened staff with what appeared to be small hand guns with a yellow or orange stripe on the handle, and a hammer, and demanded cash.
They fled empty-handed in the vehicle, which was driven by a fourth man. It made off down Dark Lane.
The men are described as wearing dark coloured clothing, hooded black coats, with their hoods up and wearing something around their mouths to conceal their identity.
Police are appealing for witnesses and ask anyone with information to contact DC Ash Kumar at Bromsgrove CID on 08457 444888 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
