BROMSGROVE and Droitwich residents are being asked to get their nominations in for female achievers who have made a difference to life in Worcestershire.
St Richard’s Hospice’s are searching for this year’s ‘Worcestershire Woman of the Year.’ Entries can only be of women who live locally, and they should fall into three categories.
The first section is business, for instance for a woman who has set up a successful business. Second is for volunteering, and third is for achievement, for example a woman who has helped encourage others.
Finalists will be honoured at a prestigious awards lunch in Worcester, with a celebrity speaker, next year.
Andrea Palmer, on St Richard’s Hospice’s committee for the awards, said: “Worcestershire has a vast number of women both ‘in business’ and within the voluntary sector who deserve to be nominated for one of these prestigious awards.”
