FIRST year students from the campus of a Bromsgrove college took part in a giant induction project.
North East Worcestershire (NEW) college welcomed the new arts students with an unusual introductory assignment.
The students were asked to take a range of everyday objects, such as cans, buttons and keys, and transform them into a large sculptural artwork.
Their creations included a huge boot, a Rubik’s Cube, photo frame and an iPod with headphones.
Student Zoey Roberts said the project was “a lot more exciting than anything I’ve done before.”
Course tutor Kerry Sherlock said they were “very impressed and proud” of the work produced by the students.
