A conference to lay down the blueprint for the district was attended by more than 100 representatives.
Bromsgrove District Housing Trust’s (BDHT) annual conference, this year dubbed the Pow-wow, was themed around strong partnerships. Topics discussed included the impact of the credit crunch, the council’s vision for Bromsgrove and the changing role of supporting people.
A dedicated slot by John Morgan, chair of BDHT, also explored the findings of The Big Consult – a three-month project which saw residents across the area asked about their housing needs and whether they saw themselves playing a role in Bromsgrove’s future.
The local Citizens Advice Bureau, local businesses, Charford Multi Agency Resource Centre, councillors and tenant representatives were among the invited guests.
The event was held at Avoncroft Museum, Stoke Heath.
