MEMBERS of the Rose Hill Garden Club were treated to a day at Burcot Grange care home, which boasts five acres of lovingly tended mature gardens.
Guests enjoyed afternoon tea and refreshments in the peaceful, tree filled grounds of the home, which boasts water features, fully accessible paths winding through wild flower embankments, natural stone outcrops and traditionally landscaped beds.
The afternoon was a huge success and the flower enthusiasts showed their appreciation by providing a rose for the home to place in the gardens, as well as contributions from members of the club, which were donated to the Acorns Children’s Hospice.
Burcot Grange, at 23 Greenhill, is open for future community initiatives.
