IN a highly entertaining game at Finstall Park, Bromsgrove under-13s came from 12 points down to beat Stourbridge 24-12.
Bromsgrove reduced the arrears through a Jon Lammas brace either side of half time.
The try of the match came from a moment of brilliance from centre David Haley.
His speculative kick from within his own half caused chaos in the Stourbridge defence and a desperate boot put the ball into touch.
Before the visitors could react Haley received the ball from his own quick throw in and dived over the whitewash to give Bromsgrove the lead.
From the restart Bromsgrove again ran the ball, this time down the left channel.
Ian Haley slipped through the defence and as he was felled on the 22, he released prop forward Cameron Simpson to crash over between the sticks.
Charlie Shephard added to his earlier conversion to give the young Boars a well deserved win.
