DROITWICH played some of their best rugby of the season to beat a very strong Cheltenham side 17-7.
Three tries from a fired up Harry Harper secured the win.
Cheltenham, who had not been beaten in four years, scored first with an impressive backs move, but couldn’t keep out a dominant Droitwich pack.
Other notable performances included Joseph Terry and Joel Power, who both tackled extremely well.
A Droitwich development side were beaten 14-10 by Cheltenham.
A try in the last play of the game denied Droitwich the double over Cheltenham.
A brace of tries from Josh Feek supported by George Priddy and Ben Perrins got Droitwich to within seconds of victory.
Strong runs from Tom Bedborough and Nick Thomas kept the match close.
