THEATREGOERS in the Spa area who like a good ‘whodunnit’ should get their deerstalkers dusted down and head for the Norbury Theatre next week.
The Droitwich theatre company is putting on Bettie Monktleow’s Curtain Up on Murder from Wednesday, May 20, until the following Saturday, May 23.
The play has twists so utterly unexpected it will leave the audience guessing until the very end.
The plays sees an amateur drama group gather to rehearse their latest play in a creepy end of pier theatre. A storm is due and the stand-in caretaker, before he leaves, locks the front door and leaves the back door on the catch – or does he?
As the rehearsal, and the storm, get underway it soon becomes apparent that all is not as it appears with backstage intrigues and illicit affairs running rife amongst the cast.
The body count racks up and everyone is left wondering just who will be left...
Ticket prices are £8.50 (£7.50 concessions) from the box office 01905 770154 and they are also available on-line from www.ticketweb.co.uk.
