REDDITCH residents can get their motors running for the musical trip of a lifetime as the cast of Route 66 invite visitors to cruise along the world’s most famous highway.
The journey through the best of American country, rock and pop music is on offer at the town’s Palace Theatre and is a spectacular musical extravaganza produced in association with Harley-Davidson.
Experience the sights and sounds of the road taken by rock ’n’ roll pioneers from Chicago to LA, enjoying the best of Americana from the 1950s to the present day – including classics from The Eagles, Cher, Bon Jovi and Johnny Cash.
A highly acclaimed cast of dancers, singers and musicians, headed up by 1980s psychedelic rock star Rev Dr Clive Jackson of Doctor and the Medics will combine deft musical arrangements, stylish choreography and multimedia effects in a show that’s aimed at all ages.
The show takes place on Friday, June 5 at 7.30pm and tickets cost between £13-17, available by calling 65203.
