ONE of Shakespeare’s funniest plays can be enjoyed in Worcester for nearly two weeks.

Group Worcester Live will be back in the beautiful Commandery gardens for what is billed as their best production to date.

The Comedy of Errors tells the story of two sets of identical twins that were accidentally separated at birth. A series of wild mishaps, based on mistaken identities, lead to wrongful beatings, a near-incestuous seduction and accusations of infidelity, theft, madness and demonic possession.

Director Chris Jeager said: “It’s thanks to the help of our sponsors and the Commandery that we are able to put on this great summer event. It takes a huge amount of organisation, but we’re really looking forward to it.”

The play will run from Tuesday, June 9 to Saturday, June 20 (excluding Monday, June 15) from 7.30pm and 3pm on a Sunday.

Family tickets cost £45 (two adults and two children), single tickets cost £13.50, £12 concessions and £8.50 for Sunday matinee.
