BROMSGROVE Rovers’ home friendly with Halesowen Town is in doubt after the crisis club Yeltz failed to confirm they could fulfill the fixture.
Halesowen face an FA ban from all fixtures if they fail to pay off football creditors by a deadline of Friday.
The game is due to go ahead a week on Saturday, July 18, but a spokesman for Bromsgrove admitted it could be off.
He said: “We have heard nothing from them since the fixture was arranged so we are not sure if it will be going ahead but we might know more by the weekend.”
Rovers will definitely kick off their pre-season programme at home to Hednesford Town next Tuesday (7.45pm).
Hednesford have transferred across from the Unibond League to the Zamaretta League and are expected to bring a strong squad.
In the FA Cup, Rovers will travel to either Dudley Sports of the West Midlands League or Walsall Wood of the Midland Combination, in the preliminary round on Saturday August 29.
If they win this tie, they will play Stourbridge at home on Saturday September 12.
In the FA Trophy, the winners of the game at Fleet in the preliminary round will travel to Swindon Supermarine.
And in the FA Youth Cup, Bromsgrove have been drawn away to Hednesford on Monday September 21, with the winners at home to Gornal, Pershore, Nuneaton Town or Malvern Town on Monday October 5.
