TICKETS are still available for the latest comedy production at Droitwich’s Norbury Theatre.
No Dinner for Sinners, by Edward Taylor, will run from Wednesday, September 9, to Saturday, September 12.
It tells of Jim Watt, who runs the London office of a stock exchange firm and is hosting a dinner party for Bill, the international director, and Nancy, his wife.
As Bill and Nancy are both members of the anti-permissive society, who disapprove of unmarried couples living together, Jim asks his partner, Helen, to pose as his wife, a request that she vehemently rejects.
Helen walks out on Jim and so, left without a cook and a wife, he only has one option, his eccentric cleaning lady, Edna, who agrees to do the job for a fee.
The show will run from 7.30pm with tickets costing £5 for the opening night and £8.50 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (concessions £7.50).
