Bromsgrove Rovers 1 Barton Rovers 0
A solitary strike from Green's forward Danny Campbell earned Bromsgrove three points to help extend their unbeaten league run against a stubborn Barton Rovers at The Victoria Ground.
Rapinder Gill cleared the ball forward and Campbell reacted the quickest outpacing the Barton defence before placing the ball past Barton goalkeeper Michael Parkin in the 33rd minute.
Danny Scheppel almost doubled the Green's advantage but his point blank header was turned aside instinctivly by Parkin right on half time.
Campbell saw his effort just clear the Barton crossbar in the 80th minute after latching onto Kevin Banner's superb left wing cross. Substitute Mark Owen the saw a close range effort cannon back off Parkin's legs three minutes later.
Barton, who had the best of the second half but rarely troubled Karl Lewis in goal, until the 84th minute when substitute Joe Bradbury had his effort turned around the post by the Bromsgrove custodian.
Right on full time Joel Mason was inches away from snatching a last gasp equaliser from a Lee wilson left wing cross.
Bromsgrove took the ball upfield and forced three consecutive corners to take the sting out of the game and claim the home win.
