ON October 3 Indefinite Articles and Scamp Theatre present Pinocchio in the room upstairs at the Palace Theatre.
The show is a great experience for children and their families taking place in the intimate space of the room upstairs.
The show follows Geppetto using the objects of a carpenter’s workshop to tell the tale of the puppet that wants to be a real boy, and the puppet-maker who wants to be a real father.
Puppetry, shadows, illusion and especially composed music combine to create a show with something for all ages that is inventive, visually and verbally witty.
Pinocchio (pictured) is carved on stage, brushes become a fox and the shadow of two saws transform into a giant shark.
An element of improvisation makes each performance unique to its audience and a great time is promised.
Tickets for the show, suitable for children aged four plus, can be purchased at the Palace Theatre box office in person or by telephone on 65203 and cost £7 (£22 family ticket). The show will begin at 11am.
