Bromsgrove Rovers 3-1 Beaconsfield SYCOB
Two goals from Danny Campbell led Bromsgrove to a convincing win over Beaconsfield SYCOB at a rain sodden wind swept Victoria Ground.
With the wind in Rovers favour the home team raced into a two goal lead. In the fifth minute Campbell raced onto Danny Scheppel's through ball and slid the ball under the advancing goalkeeper Tom McNeil.
Seven minutes later Jemiah Richards rose unmarked at the near post to power his header past McNeil from Cameron Jones's right wing corner,
Beaconsfield pulled a goal back with their first effort on goal through Ross Ahir who followed up after his first effort was only parried by Karl Lewis and slammed home the rebound from close range.
Rapinder Gill was on hand to clear Dan Tilbury's effort off the line to keep Rovers lead intackt at the start of the second-half.
Campbell wpapped up the points with a sublime volley from the left hand side of the area which surprised McNeil at his near post in the 64th minute.
The game became bogged down in the centre as the rain contiued to fall but it was Rovers who climbed out of the bottom three with three vaulable points.
