Bromsgrove Rovers 1 Atherstone Town 1
Bromsgrove Rovers drew 1-1 with Atherstone Town in the Southern League Midland Division.
Nathaniel Waite gave them the lead on 29 minutes when he controlled a ball that had come out of the box and his shot found the corner of the net.
Earlier Luke Benbow had gone close when he broke through from midfield but his half volley went just over.
But four minutes from half time, Bromsgrove captain Jordan Street had to head off the line to keep the Greens in front.
Rovers came out for the second half seemingly on fire, Luke Benbow impressing up front and causing Atherstone all sorts of problems.
He hit the bar on 59 minutes, but just 60 seconds later,Atherstone were level.
Stuart Hendrie hit the target with a good shot from the edge of the area and it was a sign for Atherstone to launch an onslaught.
But Bromsgrove held out for a valuable point and could even have won it right at the end when Fabian Iacovelli hit his shot weakly at the goalkeeper.
