A BROMSGROVE group, working to explore local food issues, is inviting townsfolk to take part in events and activities being held in October.
Members of Transition Town Bromsgrove (TTB) will be in Lickey and Blackwell to hold a meeting where those in attendance will learn more about the peak oil and the transition movement.
The ‘greening our parish’ meeting will be taking place on October 9 between 10am-1pm, at Lickey Hills Country Park Education centre, in Warren Lane.
TTB are also supporting Resurgence Slow Sunday, on October 10. The initiative aims to raise awareness about environmental issues by encouraging people to slow down and reflect on their lives and impact on the planet.
The group is also holding a learn to knit stall at Bromsgrove Arts Alive Autumn Fair, taking place at North Bromsgrove High School on October 16, between 11am-3pm.
For more information on any of October’s events, contact Marcus Draper 01527 837020, or email marcus_draper550@hotmail.com.
