CAPTAIN Dean Goddard is hoping his Droitwich RFC side can maintain their excellent away form when they take on Old Leamingtonians this Saturday.
Droitwich have made light of a testing series of away games at the start of the Midlands Division Four West (South) by maintaining a hundred per-cent record and rising to the top of the table.
Now the in-form team take on a Leamingtonians a side in mid-table after two matches.
Goddard has urged his team to end their gruelling start to the campaign and make sure that when they play their first league home fixture, against Old Halesonians on October 7, they bring back a perfect record.
He said: "We've done really well considering we've had three really tough away games. We have another one coming up that is going to test us. But once we get that out of the way we've got some home games and hopefully we can go into them on a winning run."
Despite a blistering start to Spa's campaign the captain is realistic about his side's chances of staying top of the table throughout the testing winter months.
"After three games we're exactly where we want to be. I'm not sure if we can stay top all season, because there's a long way to go yet but I'm delighted to be where we are ", added Goddard.
