AFTER five and a half years, the chairman of the Primrose Hospice Phil Nunnerley has stepped down.
The independent charity, based in St Godwalds Road, Bromsgrove gives advice and support to patients living with life limiting illnesses and their families in North Worcestershire.
During his time as chairman, Mr Nunnerley has overseen two major onsite developments at the hospice as well as being part of a number of advances within end of life care.
Mrs Candy Cooley, who has been a trustee since 2008 and vice chairwoman for the last year, is now promoted to chairwoman.
Mr Nunnerley will remain on the board of trustees for the remainder of his term of office giving financial advice to Mrs Cooley.
