After last night’s episode of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! (December 3), some eagle-eyed viewers noticed that since Tulisa Contostavlos’ exit, she had removed her Instagram posts that showed her time on the ITV show.
When celebrities are on the show, they don’t have access to their phones and instead, allow friends or family to take over their accounts.
So there were some clips, photos and moments shared on Tulisa’s account while she was in the jungle but not long after she was voted off, these posts disappeared and fans of the show were quick to realise.
Now though, Tulisa has posted a video explaining why the posts are no longer visible to her followers.
Why Tulisa removed all I’m A Celeb posts from Instagram amid exit
Breaking her silence, the N-Dubz singer said: “I’m just doing a little video to clear a couple of things up.
“Just so you know when I came out of the jungle I felt fine first of all and then that evening my friends went to bed. I was on my Instagram just trying to have a nice little casual scroll at some funny stuff or the stuff I like to watch and I was getting a lot of attention, a lot of bombarding in all the most positive way but because it’s been a bit of a while for me, I can get overwhelmed quite easily and I just started to feel a little bit overwhelmed.
“I thought do you know what I really just need to take a bit of time for me and just chill and this is all feeling just a little bit much at the moment. I’m just going to archive all my stuff to do with the jungle and then when the time is right and I’ve had a little time to process, I’m gonna make my own reels of all my best bits that I really like.”
She reminded viewers that she wasn’t in charge of her Instagram posts and that she would’ve preferred to have fewer posts on her account, showing her favourite parts of her experience on the show.
She went on to say she has been feeling “overwhelmed” because she’s “been out of the spotlight for a long time” and that she’s still got her “little demons”.
Tulisa said she wants to have some time to herself and joked that it doesn’t mean she’ll be silent “for another 10 years”.

She also thanked ITV and I’m A Celebrity for being “really understanding and patient” with her and expressed that “mental health is important”.
Tulisa was the third celebrity to leave the jungle and as she left, she told Ant and Dec: “It is tough in there, leaving is still a happy thing.”
Speaking about her I'm A Celebrity experience, she added: “I just think you're more grateful for everything, the food you eat, being around the people you love, the home comforts, just makes you very appreciative of life.”
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! continues nightly at 9pm on ITV1, STV and ITVX.
