LIKE all schools North has its share of disruptive children whose bad behaviour can make life a misery for teachers and pupils alike. However, what I have observed is the constant efforts that staff (and management) make to tackle such behaviour while attempting, if at all possible, to ensure that all children, whatever their background or ability level, are able to access a good learning experience.

My elder child has just left the school with excellent GCSE results. I was very impressed by the amount of extra time and support put in by many teachers because they genuinely wanted their pupils to do well.
