ALTHOUGH torrential rain washed out most of the events at the Droitwich Spa Health Day earlier this month, the Prostate Cancer Testing continued in the Community Hall.
I would like to thank the three phelbotanists from the Droitwich Spa Hospital, all the helpers from the Kidderminster and District Prostate Cancer Support group, and the 163 men who were tested – for attending and making our event so successful.
With another testing session taking place in Penrith Cumbria over 500 men were tested over the weekend, all paid for by support groups and donations.
Hopefully this is putting more pressure on the Goverment to bring in an NHS screening programme.
