WE always seem to hear the bad things regarding the NHS and never the good, but with the treatment myself and my wife have received, we cannot thank the NHS enough.
In December 2006, my wife was diagnosed with breast and skin cancer and after surgery and radiotherapy, she is doing well. In December 2007, I was diagnosed with high grade non- Hodgkins lymphoma and received intensive chemotherapy.
We would like to express our thanks to Dr Maughan, Mr Brown, Mr Irwin including their teams, all members of staff on the Garden Suite and MAU ward at the Alexandra Hospital, Redditch, for the excellent treatment we have both received.
We would also like to say a big thank you to Dr Morrey, receptionists and nurses at Churchfields Surgery.
