IT seems Bromsgrove District Council is expecting to raise more revenue when all the £30 parking passes expire.

I doubt that will happen, as OAP's will probably just cut down on the number of visits to the town centre.

The £300 permit is only viable for anyone needing to park on a daily basis.

As many workers use Crabtree Lane and Church Road for free parking, why not restrict parking to one hour from 9am to 4pm. This could free up the spaces for local residents wishing to pop to the shops, or bank, or visit the churchyard and also give the council more revenue.
