DUDLEY Town's dynamic run of form continued when they inflicted a 3-2 defeat on second placed Bewdley Town.
Goals from Dan Taylor and Lewis Taylor-Boyce put the Robins in the driving seat before Bewdley hit back to level.
Luke Morris clawed a goal back for Bewdley before adding a second from the penalty spot.
But Dudley bagged the points with a spectacular Lewis Archer lob and condemn Bewdley to only their second league reverse this term.
The result now leaves Bewdley six points adrift of league leaders Shifnal Town who made it a perfect 10 with a commanding 5-1 success over Wolves Sporting Community.
Bewdley will bid to bounce back this Saturday when they entertain unbeaten Wolves Casuals at Ribbesford Meadow.
Dudley Town make the short trip to rivals Cradley Town this Saturday before travelling to face Northamptonshire side Wellingborough Town on November 2nd in the FA Vase.
Cradley Town's clash with Dudley Sports at Hillcrest Avenue was cut short on 66 minutes when the game had to be abandoned following a serious knee injury to Sports' player Mark Gore.
Cradley were leading 1-0 at the time thanks to a 15th minute Nigel Penney penalty after Jake Crackett had been fouled by Iain Sutherland.
It means Cradley remain rooted at the bottom while Sports slip to just two places above them.
Sports travel to Darlaston Town this Saturday.
