Four goals were shared equally between Stamford and Bromsgrove Sporting, as the two teams played out an entertaining draw writes Max Banner.
Conor Tee gave the Rouslers the lead inside the first minute before Lee Shaw levelled the scoring 25 minutes in.
Bromsgrove regained the lead four minutes later courtesy of a Tom Taylor header; Stamford's second equaliser of the afternoon came eight minutes into the second half, as captain Rob Morgan bagged for The Daniels.
With Aaron Roberts unavailable and Callum King-Harmes injured, player/manager Mike McGrath started his first match since mid-October playing in a back three with David Soladami and Tom Taylor whilst Billy Shaw and Ben O'Hanlon occupied the wing-back positions.
The game - in front of 444 fans - got off to the best possible start in the first minute for Sporting, as Conor Tee unleashed a majestic curled strike from 25 yards that flew into keeper Michael Duggan's net.
Billy Shaw almost doubled Bromsgrove's lead 13 minutes later but his effort was hit straight at Duggan; it would be another Shaw, Stamford's Lee, who would score the game's second goal, as he struck home from inside the box having been teed up by Jack Duffy.
Sporting would regain the lead soon after though, as an exquisite ball from a free-kick into the box by Tee was headed home by Taylor with pinpoint accuracy.
Tee almost scored his second goal of the afternoon in the 38th minute, but his rasping drive was palmed wide by Duggan.
The leveller was scored by Stamford's skipper Morgan, whose glancing header via a free kick flew past Ollie Taylor and into the bottom corner.
Bromsgrove's best chance of the half came in the 73rd minute, as a Ben O'Hanlon cross found substitute Miro Pais, who saw his shot from close range brilliantly saved by Duggan.
The home side had a brace of good chances in additional time to clinch all three points, but neither Tiago Nassunculo or Jon Challinor were able to find the target with their respective efforts, as Sporting stood firm to land a share of the spoils.
