BROMSGROVE RFC Colts kicked off their Australasian tour with a 34-5 win against Singapore Academy.
Sam Bastock scored two tries while there was one each for Matt Wilson, Phil Shore and Stu Watts.
Jack Talbot also kicked a conversion in the victory, which took place in sweltering 30C heat.
The Boars gave an excellent account of themselves in a hard fought first-half, in which most of the points were scored.
But due to the temperature and humidity, the game began to favour the home side, although Bromsgrove's stout defence limited them to one try.
The second game of the tour in Sydney was cancelled due to poor weather conditions causing a waterlogged pitch.
However, the Boars utilised their free time by training on Bondi beach.
Four of the team guested for Eastern Suburbs RFC against New South Wales U18s.
The Boars will now move up country to Coffs Harbour for their next game.
