BROMSGROVE captain Mark Evenson is confident his side have overcome their mini-slump in Birmingham and District League Division One.
Having followed up their excellent start to the season with defeats to Old Hill and Shrewsbury, the Boars picked up an encouraging winning draw against Shrewsbury at the weekend.
Jayden Levitt made an inspired 119 not out as his side reached 265-6, but Sutton were content to stifle Bromsgrove, holding out for 170-7 to secure a share of the points.
Evenson said: "It was a positive result considering the last couple of results we have had.
"We batted very well and the pleasing side was to get the confidence back with the bat.
"I said to the lads they still have the quality and we needed to knuckle down and apply ourselves."
Bromsgrove will be without Tom Green for Saturday's trip to Harborne, but Nick Husbands should return to the team.
