Get active with a family fun run for half price.

Get your running shoes on Sunday, June 23 at Wythall Park for Paula Radcliffe's Families on Track.

The former marathon world record holder has teamed up with Worcestershire County Council for the run.

Potential runners can use the promotion code WYTHALLFOT50% to pay half the price of a regular £35 ticket at www.wythallhollywoodfunrun.org.uk.

Families can participate in a 10-kilometre relay race, with team members including kids, adults and even grandparents.

The event will feature a special 'Family Zone' where the changeovers will occur, allowing teams to cheer for each other.

When completing the distance, all participants will join together for the 'Glory Leg' towards the finish line.

Every team member will receive a commemorative t-shirt, medal, and an event goody bag.

Former World Champion runner Steve Cram and the Events of the North team will be at the event to see runners cross the finish line.

Cram said: "I’m looking forward to being there on Sunday, June 23.

"With a great running route on traffic-free roads, as well as activities for families and non-runners it should be a great day for Worcestershire."

Lisa McNally, director of public health at the council, said: "We really want families to have fun this summer and stay healthy too.

"That’s why we are making it even more affordable for every family to get involved by offering 50 per cent off.

"It’s going to be a great day."
