IT was a golden week for Jess Varnish at the European Junior Track Championships in Poland, as she stormed to victory in the 500m Time Trial and the Kieirin.
The Finstall cyclist made a strong start to the championships with bronze in the sprint, narrowly being pipped by Barbora Drzkova of Slovakia and Russian Victoria Baranova.
On Friday, Varnish cruised home in the 500m TT by four tenths of a second.
The following day, she retained her Kierin crown with another dominant performance.
