BARNT Green's season in the Birmingham and District League Premier Division ended in disappointment after they suffered a five-wicket loss to Knowle and Dorridge on Saturday.
The defeat ensured that the Cherry Hill side slipped a place to fourth in the division and were leapfrogged by Saturday's opponents from Warwickshire.
Green struggled to get to grips with Knowle's bowling attack and could only score 101 all out.
Only Richard Hall (21) and former Warwickshire ace Dougie Brown (46) could make an impact, as Green were bowled out in 34 overs.
Bowlers Nick Warren, who took an impressive three wickets for just ten runs, and Nick James (4-38) were too much for their out of sorts batting order.
Barnt Green's bowlers tried in vain to restrict Knowle, with opener David Smith bowled out by Andre Nel for four runs.
Opener Sam Reddish top scored for Green's opponents with 26, before he was dismissed by Phil Mann but Travis Friend (18 not out) and Richard Johnson (14) got into double figures to frustrate them.
Ten runs from Littlewood then made sure Knowle reached 102-5 and ensured maximum points.
