BROMSGROVE Golf Club’s 17-24 handicap team won their final league match of the season away to Cocks Moors Woods by a score of 229-232.
It was a tense match as the result was important to both teams.
The home team needed to win to maintain their first division status and for Bromsgrove to ensure the league championship.
The result secured a hat-trick of titles for Bromsgrove, the only time this has been achieved by a club in the 35-year history of the Birmingham League.
