SOCCER Sixes, a company specialising in the organisation of small-sided football, are bringing a six-a-side league to Bromsgrove this month.

The league will be based at South Bromsgrove High School’s sports hall.

The community league will run every Monday from 7pm to 9pm.

There will be eight teams in each of the two divisions, with a promotion and relegation system in place.

Teams will play an intense 30 minute match each week with a qualified referee.

Fees are just £2.50 per player and teams entering will have the chance to win a huge array of awards including trophies or cash for winners and runners-up, player of the season, and a fair play award.

Teams will also have the opportunity of playing against other teams from leagues across England in Soccer Sixes’ national cup.

All equipment will be provided. Anyone over the age of 15 can enter and you do not need to be an organised or established team - you may simply be a group of friends, work colleagues or mates from the pub.

Soccer Sixes’ Ross Spacey said: “This league has been organised for the benefit of the local community and the vast array of awards is sure to prove popular with teams.

“Our website offers teams chance to log on daily and find all there league tables, fixtures, top players and all general information regarding the league.

“We aim to ensure that all teams get maximum enjoyment from playing, this makes all our hard work running and maintaining the leagues worthwhile.”

Teams are advised to contact Soccer Sixes as soon as possible to register in advance and avoid disappointment as places are limited. Soccer Sixes can be contacted by phone on 07896 568501 or 0870 330 0888 and teams can also register online at www.soccersixes.net.
