RUBERY Ladies suffered a 14-2 trouncing at the hands of Walsall Development.
It was their second defeat in a row in their inaugural season in the Birmingham County WFA Premier Division.
Rubery started brightly but were 3-2 down after 30 minutes, despite strikes from Kylie Owen and new signing Andrea Prior.
However, in the second half, Walsall took complete control.
There were four goals for Liz Stevenson, hat-tricks for Kerry Martin and Amie Oakley, and strikes for Liz Smart, Annalee Hewitt, Leoni Fletcher, and Jessie Clougher.
