Bromsgrove Rovers 0 v Stourport Swifts 4
A Brace from Chris Cornes helped Swifts past their neighbours Rovers in this Red Insure League cup tie at The Victoria Ground.A penalty from another ex Green Mark Benbow and one from Dene Wittal-Williams rounded off the scoring.
Wittal-Williams scored the first in the 41st minute touching home at the near post from a Cornes corner.
Benbow added the second from the penalty spot after Jamie Insall went over easily under challenge from Jordan Street.
Two goals in two minutes settled the tie both came from Cornes, his first on 68 minutes cannoned back off the post and went in off the unfortunate goalkeeper Karl Lewis.
His second was another long range effort that squeezed past Lewis's despairing dive into the bottom right hand corner.
Jemiah Richards headed a depleated forward line for Rovers with Omar Spence as Rovers tried to claw their way into the match but missed oppertunities put paid to that.
